Emotional & Empathetic Support

Wellbeing and Emotional Support Service

They offer a one to one counselling service for those experiencing bereavement, a life limiting illness or those caring for someone with a life limiting illness.

The service also offers support through groups for those who have been bereaved, those living with life-limiting illness and their carers.

Also spiritual support is available for those of any faith or those with no faith, as one aspect of our holistic care.

Their services are free of charge and open to anybody over 18 who lives within or has a GP registered in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

If you feel that you can benefit from their support in any of the ways above, you can either refer yourself directly to us or ask your GP or health professional to refer you.

Introducing two new services on Tuesdays:

Wellbeing Workshops

In these workshops we will learn some simple techniques to reduce stress and enhance coping and wellbeing in caregivers and patients alike

These workshops are open to patients and carers and will run on the following dates:

October 21st and 28th between 13:30 and 15:00

November 4th between 13:30 and 15:00

Drop-In Reiki

Reiki is a process that induces a flow of beneficial, relaxing energy between the practitioner and the recipient. This enables the body’s natural resources to deal with imbalance or disease in the most appropriate way for the person.

It can be used for illness, stress or injury and can complement other treatments and therapies. It can also be effective in easing pain and improving the quality of life.

These sessions are available to patients and carers on a drop-in basis on Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm. The sessions are on a first come, first served basis and will last approximately 15 minutes.
